Raymond sang bass/baritone in the church choir at the age of 12 with The Coats Singers, of San Francisco, CA. He also led on such songs as: 'When Jesus Comes,' 'Home of the Soul,' 'That Rock Still Stands,' 'Oh Mary Don't You Weep,' 'Jesus Is A Balm,' 'On The Wings of A Dove'. Raymond went on to engage in a successful entertaining career. Raymond has performed for such dignitaries as the Honorable Willie Brown, Mayor of San Francisco, and Danny Glover, performer extraordinaire.

Raymond sang at the Sacramento Black Expo Fair, Solano County Fair in Vallejo, Department of Motor Vehicles and Walden House. Raymond took part in the Michael Jackson video "CRY". He performed in Japan. Included in all of this are his performances as the front man for various bands among which were Raw Soul on the streets of Berkeley, The Elegants, The Performers, Cordial, Finesse and Soul Commitment. Currently Raymond is being produced by Tony Saunders. As a Gospel Artist Raymond has a CD production entitled "Our Father's Dream. Raymond is currently available for live performances in areas throughout California and other states.
